Our recently hired carpenter, Brad Moore, has been promoted to superintendent! Here's a look into his story and how he made it here.
How did you get started in construction?
Though I initially followed a different career path after college, I've always enjoyed building and construction. Around 2004, my father started a small construction company that I joined and eventually took over when he retired.
What have you enjoyed most about working at Fedders?
The people. Everyone at Fedders has been great to work with. From the support in the office to the expertise and hard work from the crew in the field, everyone works together to create a great environment.
What are you looking forward to in our career as superintendent?
Problem solving. There are challenges and issues that come up on every job everyday. It often gives me the opportunity to be creative. It is very rewarding to see a project from start to completion and recognize all of the challenges and hard work that went into it.
What's your best memory at Fedders so far?
Our team bonding trip to Joe's farm. I really enjoyed our time together.
What's one thing you couldn't live without?
Work related phone, tools and truck come to mind — but really it's my family. The last year has brought a lot of changes for me. My wife and daughters have been very supportive.
