Safety is a priority at Fedders. We’re intentional about planning ahead to prevent injuries. Albert often stresses the importance of being “proactive in lieu of reactive” for the sake of the quality of our projects, the efficiency of our work and the safety of our team. One of the ways we stay injury free is our biweekly safety talks. At these meetings, we review specific safety concerns to keep in mind. Some of our recent talks have covered ladder safety, confined space entry, excavation trenching, proper procedures for filling up diesel equipment, fork lift procedures and how to deal with heat stress.
